½. The habit of changing negative thoughts to positive.
This is a half habit because you don’t need the whole habit in order for it to be effective. It is the most difficult habit to maintain. This is the habit of changing your thoughts. Mastering your thoughts is a constant struggle, if you master them half the time, you’ll be doing twice a well! The thoughts you share with others can have a profound influence on them.

I was driving along, minding my own business, when the man in the pickup in the next lane started honking, waving his hand and giving me that middle finger salute. He pulled in front of me and continued gesturing for the block before I made my turn. The dread I felt encompassed my thoughts and feelings. My energy stopped flowing and immediately I felt my soul complain once again that nothing was ever going my way. Depression took control of my body and reminded me of everything I did for others and how I was never repaid.
Suddenly, a Holy Spirit thought came to my mind with these words. “Something good is about to happen.” An energy sparked and ignited my mind into the possibilities of what good thing was about to take place. I was no longer feeling rejected and alone. I was anticipating good fortune and the expectancy changed my whole outlook on life.
