As responsible adults, we are encouraged to create both a Will and a Living Will. Wouldn’t it be great to also create a document that declares how we want to live! It could be called a “Living Willfully Declaration.”

As responsible adults, we are encouraged to create both a Will and a Living Will. Wouldn’t it be great to also create a document that declares how we want to live! It could be called a “Living Willfully Declaration.” This document wouldn’t divide up what we have, or detail how we want to leave with dignity, but instead it would bear witness to the principles and values we want our lives to express. By Living Willfully, I mean living with intention and integrity, purpose and determination, mindfulness and just action. It means consciously choosing how we want to respond to life instead of simply reacting.

In these times of change it is important remain stable in our own individual values, and be connected to universal values.

Discern between accepting and settling. Accept what you cannot change, but never settle for anything below your standards.
When you settle for less than your standards, you allow yourself to lose integrity and you lose a piece of yourself every time. Simple math tells you that the more you’re not in integrity, the more you lose. Being out of integrity is very similar to your spine being out of its healthy alignment, or the alignment of your car being out of its proper settings. In either case, you (or your car) aren’t going to be able to operate at the optimum level when lacking integrity.

The Law of Attraction, if you will excuse the pun, can be quite attractive. Narrowed down to its basics, the Law of Attraction means: You will reap whatever type of energy you sow. If you engage in and put out negative energy such as pessimism and cynicism, then you’ll get negative energy back. Likewise, if you engage in and put out positive energy such as hope and optimism, then that, too, will be returned to you. You may recognize this as karma, of which it’s basically the same perspective. If you want to truly create and live the life of power, passion, purpose and prosperity, then it’s of the utmost importance you sow your seeds accordingly.

It IS a fact of life that every one of you are going to experience challenges, detours and temporary setbacks in life. As much as we plan and guard against setbacks, we sometimes let them get out of our control, so that they control us. The person who faces the time when everything seems against them; finds courage within them; drives away all destructive thinking; and upholds their self respect and integrity is MOST LIKELY TO SUCCEED.

A few years ago, I wrote down this quote in my journal…

Check out this invaluable little self-help guide…it might just transform the quality of your life! Imagine condensing everything you have ever learnt about being effective and how to make things work in life and condensing it on to one page!
Check out this invaluable little self-help guide…it might just transform the quality of your life!
Imagine condensing everything you have ever learnt about being really effective and how to make things work in life and condensing it on to one page!
-I know this sounds a crazy idea, but to a certain extent it has been done.

Who are you really? How do you define your authenticity and integrity?
Do you give room for the expression of the true you?that which has no limits and no definition?to shine? Or is this expression bound to the beliefs of who you think you are or should be?
In spirituality we read much about authenticity and integrity, but I’m not always sure we have a clear understanding of these terms. Some folks have told me they believe these words refer to being honest and true to themselves, but I most often feel that they are speaking about their ego-self rather than the true self inspired by the divine within.

More and more people are using the services of a life coach in North America. As a life coach myself, I discuss how the profession is pricing itself out of reach of the people who need it most, and explain how life coaching can be made much cheaper and consequently more accessible.
Life Coaching has seemingly become a luxury that only people who are reasonably well-off are able to enjoy. An average 1 hour phone call with a life coach can cost up to $200, and packages for several months can be priced at thousands of dollars.

Thieves seldom launch their criminal activities by robbing banks.
It starts on a much smaller scale, perhaps with sweets off a counter, but can quickly escalate if not challenged. Some of those men (and women) I have worked alongside as Prison Chaplain began their life of crime by pinching chocolate bars.
Most sin begins in an almost insignificant manner, but given the characteristics of evil it grows rapidly.
Dishonesty wrecks relationships.
Stealing goes against the Will of God and the Word of God and places a man outside the blessing of God.
Pilfering is not and never petty.
