It’s time to start getting what you want out of school, work, your relationship and life in general. It’s time to Make Your Own Lunch? (Hint: it has NOTHING to do with actual food!)
Do you remember when you were a kid and eating your lunch at school? Do you remember what it was like opening up that ‘G.I. Joe’ or My ‘Little Pony’ lunchbox with anticipation and excitement of what goodies would be inside? Were you ever disappointed when you opened you lunch to find that the cookies and cupcakes were replaced with carrots and celery? That, my friends, is called “lunch bag letdown”; when you open your lunch to find out it’s not what you expected!

Self-discovery happens as the result of mental and physical action - and doing the same things over and over is not mental activity. We think we are thinking because our brains are working, that is not thinking.

Ever have one of those moments, events, or days when it appears if it can go wrong it seems to? Were you pleased with how you managed yourself, and the outcome?
The event was one I not only looked forward to, but carefully planned for. My handouts, business cards, and artificial bonsai tree were packed and ready to go in my wheeled suitcase the day before the event. It was scheduled to start at noon and last until two o’clock; which meant I needed to be at the site for 11:30 so I could set up my table. And, I’d been told to expect about two hundred people to attend. I was ready!

The only goal someone can successfully achieve is their own. When the goal originates from within that person there is a far greater likelihood of personal and financial success. Too often people struggle by pursuing someone else’s vision.
Is it possible that you are not achieving the personal and financial success you desire because you simply never took the time to really focus on what YOU actually want?
Maybe what you have heard, tried and done is completely wrong for you. Perhaps you have been trying to accomplish someone else’s dream. Maybe another person’s idea of success sounded great to you. So, you decided to jump on board.

Do you believe in the power of intention? How much of your success in life is the result of intention? Hopefully, you already know the answer is 100%.
Lately I have been reading a lot on the topic. Although I have always believed in it, I am uncovering aspects of the power of intention which lead me to believe there are vast, untapped potentials in all of us far greater than I realized; we need only to subscribe to the process.
Most people believe in the power of intention to some degree. However, too many of us sabotage any positive outcomes. Here is an example of what I mean:

Happiness is associated with better health, more creativity, higher income, and better workplace evaluations. Happy people tend to be more helpful, creative, charitable, altruistic and healthier. They live longer, are more likely to marry, tend to stay married longer, tend to have more friends and actually earn more money. How can you be happier? What is it that very happy folks actually do differently than the rest of us?
“Happiness comes when your work and words are of benefit to yourself and others.” Buddha

Our hunger for information has created a new sickness, information sickness, for which the only known cure is relaxation.
We are increasingly overloaded with information as the information era gains pace. The amount of information we have to deal with everyday is growing at a phenomenal rate.

There is a saying in ancient scriptures that the mind is responsible for both man’s binding and his ultimate liberation from the cycle of birth-death or happiness-unhappiness.
The personality defects in a person are responsible for unhappiness, whereas his qualities are responsible for happiness and contentment.
In order to lead a happy life with a sense of permanent safety ad stability and for effective spiritual practice it is essential that the personality defects in an individual are destroyed and qualities are imbibed or developed. Personality defects are the main obstacle in obtaining/experiencing happiness or contentment in one’s life.
